Compact heavy-duty sailwinch capable of very high wind-up speed. Adjustment of sail setting is infinitely variable, proportional, with excellent resolution with the position of the sails duplicating that of the transmitter control stick. Stroke of
sailwinch is adjustable between 31/2 and 81/2 turns after
removal of the rear cover. The gearbox of the winch is self-locking, a feature which prevents accidental alteration of the setting of the sail under fluctuating wind pressure, as well as increased current drain in the no-load position. A single main drive power supply of 4 9 V is required. Thanks to its two winding drums of 19 and 29 mm diameter, respectively,
provided in addition to its 9 mm diam. shaft – which can also serve as a wind-up drum – the sailwinch can be adapted to practically any desired sail-setting requirement. A rope guide prevents the tension line from jumping off the drum.
